Abilio Pacheco

Abilio Pacheco 68 of New Bedford passed away Monday August 10, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Gwyn (Santos) Pacheco and son of the late Abilio and Maria Deolinda Pacheco. He was born in Achadinha, St. Michael, Azores and had lived in this area for many years. Abilio was employed as a commercial fisherman. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his son Kevin Pacheco, his daughter Lisa Pacheco, his brother Jose Pacheco and his sister Natalia Lourenco all of New Bedford. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jayceon Douglas and Tristyn Douglas, also many nieces and nephews. His gravesite service, with military honors, will be held 11:45 am at Pine Grove Cemetery on Thursday August 13.
