Albert R. Vanasse

Albert R. Vanasse, 83, of New Bedford, passed away on August 19, 2024 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Joseph Vanasse and the late Marie Beatrice (Perry) Vanasse. 

Albert was a religious man and worked in the area for many years as a short order cook. 

He is survived by his brother George Vanasse of New Bedford. Albert was predeceased  by his brother, Oliva Vanasse of Dartmouth; and his sister Shirley Vanasse. 

In accordance with his wishes, Albert was cremated. A Visitation with cremated remains will take place at Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Boulevard, New Bedford, the morning of Thursday, September 19th from 8:30 - 9:30 am with a 10:00 am Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church with a Burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
