Albino C Baia

Albino C Baia, 80, of New Bedford passed away at the Fall River Jewish Home on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born in Meixedo, Portugal, he was the son the late Antonio Baia and the late Joaquina (Barros) Baia and the loving husband to Gloria (Morias) Baia.

Coming to the United States in 1976, Albino spent many years as a Textile Factory worker. He was a passionate fan of F.C Porto and long time member of the Club Recordacoes De Portugal. 

Albino is survived by his wife, Gloria; son, Daniel Baia and his wife Monica; grandchildren Dillan Baia and Kevin Pereira; brother, Joaquim Baia and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Joao Baia, Antonio Baia, Domingos Baia and Jose Baia: Sisters, Joaquina Barros and Maria do Carmo Baia.

Albino's visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th at the Boulevard Funeral Home from 8:30-10:30am and will be immediately followed by his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception at 11am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
