Alda Dupont

Alda Dupont of Rochester passed away Saturday October 8, 2011. She was the wife of the late Aimee Dupont and daughter of the late Frank and Rosa (Gouveia) Perry. She was born and raised in New Bedford before moving to Rochester. She loved working in her yard, planting shrubs and flowers. Alda’s fondest memories were of times spent with her family and close friends. She is survived by several nephews and nieces; Donald Perry and Eileen Perry of New Bedford, Mary Lou Corey of Acushnet, Rosanne Shannon of North Brookfield, MA. Donna Smith, Pamela Stevens and Clay Perry all of Livingston, Louisiana, also several cousins in New Bedford and Cambridge, Ma. She was the sister of the late Manuel Perry, Mary Medeiros, Americo Perry and Alviro Perry. In accordance with her wishes her funeral services were private. Burial was in St. John’s cemetery. A memorial mass will be offered for the repose of her soul.
