Ana Cesar

Ana (Carreiro) Cesar 50 of New Bedford passed away Thursday June 23, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the daughter of Maria Evelyn (Martins) Carreiro of New Bedford and the late Edward M. Carreiro. She was born in the Azores and had lived in New Bedford for many years. Ana was formerly employed as a stitcher at Calvin Clothing. Survivors include her mother, her children Jason Cesar, Kenneth Studdman, Allison Cesar and Christine Ryan all of New Bedford. Her brothers Edward Carreiro of New Bedford, Virginio M. Carreiro and his wife Lucy of New Bedford, Rogerio F. Carreiro and his wife Helia of New Bedford, Michael Carreiro and his wife Helena of New Bedford and Marco Carreiro of Portugal; her sisters Margaret "Maggie" Ferreira of Acushnet and Nazare Carreiro of Portugal; her grandson Jack Ryan, also nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Carlos Carreiro and Rui Carreiro. Ana will be cremated.
