Ana Pinto Cardoso

Ana Pinto Cardoso, 91, of New Bedford, passed away at The Royal of Fairhaven on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Born in Valdegas, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Pinto Cardoso and the late Aurelia Goncalves and loving wife to the late Jose Pinto DaCosta. 

Upon coming to the United States in 1968, Ana worked for many years as a stitcher for Riverside Clothing and Calvin Clothing. 

She is survived by her sister, Anunceicao DaCosta of Milford, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Ana's Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 20th at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church with a visitation prior from 8-9:30am. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery.
