Ana Rodrigues

Ana M. (Medeiros) Rodrigues 97 of New Bedford passed away Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Our Lady’s Haven. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Rodrigues and daughter of the late Bento and Isabel (Roxo) Medeiros. She was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and had lived in New Bedford since 1965. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church.Mrs. Rodrigues was formerly employed as a stitcher for various clothing manufacturing companies until her retirement. Survivors include her sons Cilio Medeiros of Chaves, Portugal, Manuel Medeiros of Fairhaven, Carlos Rodrigues of Acushnet; her daughter Aida Rodrigues of New Bedford; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Amadeu Medeiros. Her funeral mass will be said 9am Tuesday at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours are Monday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady’s Haven 71 Center St. Fhvn. 02719.
