Armando Amaral

Armando M. Amaral, 60, of New Bedford passed away Sunday February 20, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Maria (Vieira) Amaral. He was born in Feteira Pequena, St. Michael, Azores to Antonio DeAmaral and the late Donatilde (Pacheco) Amaral. He was a laborer for Feeney Brothers for many years and a member of the St. Michael Social Club. He is survived by his wife, Maria, brothers; Daniel DaAmaral and Steven Amaral, both of New Bedford, sisters; Tibera Pereira, Connie Pacheco, Lucy Braga, Maria Sofia Nogueira, and Sandra Pereira, all of New Bedford, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, and his brother Diogenes Amaral. Armando's Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 28th at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in New Bedford with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Sunday, February 27th from 3pm to 6pm at Boulevard Funeral Home in New Bedford.
