Beverly Machado

Beverly (Roderiques) Machado 44 of New Bedford passed away Tuesday November 5, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of John Machado and daughter of Juanita (Kemp) Roderiques of Portland, Maine and the late Leonard Roderiques. She was born in New Bedford and lived here all of her life. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in South Dartmouth. Beverly was employed as a pet groomer at Melody’s Pet Grooming. Survivors include her husband, her mother, her children Joao Machado and Ashley Machado both of New Bedford, her brothers Leonard Roderiques of New Bedford, Frank Roderiques of Bourne, Shawn Roderiques of New Bedford, Charlie Lund of New Bedford, and Gerry Lund of New Bedford, her sisters Melody Roderiques of Acushnet and Cheryl Bowman of New Bedford, her grandson Julius Silva, also many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Thursday November 7, 2019 at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd. Her funeral mass will be said 10am, Friday November 8, 2019 at St. Mary’s Church, South Dartmouth. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
