Carl Dumont

Carl "DEWEY" Dumont of Lakeville died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 after a long illness at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the husband of Christine (Matthews) Dumont and son of Donat Dumont of Maine and the late Maureen (Sousa). He was also step-son of the late Robert Potvin. He was born in Fall River and had lived in the Southcoast area all of his life. He was formerly employed by Sunbeam Bakery. He enjoyed his Harley, the Patriots, fishing and his animals. Survivors include his wife, his father, several children including Jami Lee Rogers of New Bedford and several grandchildren. His funeral service will be held 4:30pm Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will be Saturday 4-8pm and Sunday 2:30-4:30pm. In accordance with the wishes of the family he will be cremated.
