Clara Allain

Clara (Pereira) Allain 84 of Acushnet passed away on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at the Oak’s. She was the wife of Rene Allain and daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Rebello) Pereira. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Survivors include her husband; her sons Francis A. Murray Jr. of Maine, Steven Murray of Fairhaven, Rene Allain Jr. of New Bedford; 2 daughters Rose Marie Stolmeier of New Bedford, Maria Ann Murray of Phoenix, AZ; a brother John Carvalho of Acushnet; a sister Alice Pereira of Acushnet; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Jardin and Caroline Souza. Her funeral service will be 9am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery
