Clementina Conchinha

Clementina (Calado) G. Conchinha 92 formerly of New Bedford passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at Our Lady’s Haven. She was the widow of Jose Conchinha and daughter of the late Manuel and Albina (Afonso) Calado. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Clementina was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include her sons Nelson Conchinha and his wife Goretti of New Bedford, Joseph Conchinha and his wife Karen of Fall River, Stephen Conchinha and his wife Isabel of New Bedford, Roy Conchinha and his wife Kristi of Missouri and Manuel Conchinha and his wife Suzanne of Maine. Her sister Isaura Serode of New Bedford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Conchinha, Shawn Conchinha, Tiffany Conchinha, Kimberly Conchinha, Amanda Conchinha, Ryan Conchinha, Kayla Conner, Casey Conchinha and Austin Conchinha. 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady’s Haven and Kindred Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Her funeral mass will be said 9am Thursday at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours will be 5-8pm Wednesday at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
