Courtney Guidry

Courtney Guidry, 26, of Acushnet, passed away suddenly, on Saturday, December 26, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the daughter of Michael and Natalie (Goncalves) Guidry of Acushnet. Courtney was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area all of her life. She was employed at Wareham Pediatrics. She will be greatly missed by her softball family. Survivors include her parents, her brother Craig Guidry, her maternal grandparents Jose and Lucille Goncalves of New Bedford; her God parents Frank and Suzie Goncalves; also aunts, uncles and cousins and her best friend “Callie”. She was the granddaughter of the late Helen Guidry of New Bedford and the late Gilbert Guidry of Louisiana. She was also pre deceased by her dog, “Sadie”. Her visiting hours will be 10am-12pm Friday, January 1, 2021 at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Rebecca’s Paws and Claws, Johnston, RI. or any animal shelter of your choice. Due to COVID -19 restrictions, all attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Attendance at the funeral home will be limited. We ask that guests pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter. There could be wait times outside of the funeral home. Burial will be private.
