David Arruda

David Arruda 77 of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Friday September 20, 2013 after being surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Joyce (Keith) Arruda and son of the late Manuel S. and Marion R. (Medeiros) Arruda. He was a lifelong New Bedford resident. Mr. Arruda was formerly employed as a millwright at Morse Cutting Tools. He enjoyed going on trips to New Hampshire, being with his family and country music.  Survivors include his wife; his children David Arruda Jr. and his wife Ana, Sandra Macedo and Steven Arruda; his grandchildren Marc Baptista, David Arruda and Ryan Arruda; his brother Manuel Arruda Jr. and his wife Diane; his sisters Leonora Costa and her husband Joseph, Dorothy Harkins and her husband George, Geraldine DeMello and her husband John; his brother-in-law Raymond Perry; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alice Wagner, Lillian Perry, Eileen Caton and brother-in-law of the late Donald Wagner and Ronald Caton.
