Dolores Chase

Dolores R. (Jardin) Chase 87 of New Bedford passed away, at her home, on Sunday July 5, 2020. She was the widow of Woodrow W. Chase Jr. and daughter of the late Antonio and Joaquina (Pestana) Jardin. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Dolores was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was formerly employed as a stitcher in the clothing manufacturing industry. Survivors include her sons Woodrow W. Chase III and Brian Chase both of New Bedford, her sister Patricia Bencz of New York and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Zulmira “Winnie” Elias, Laura Almeida, Helen Roberts, Charles Jardin, Mary Jardin, Angelina Dias, Grace Vipon, Hilda Amacio and Incarnacao Nunes. Her memorial mass will be said Wednesday, July 8, 2020, 10:30am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Everyone is invited to go directly to the church.
