Born in Fairhaven on December 29,1936, a daughter of the late William A. and Lorenza (Patenaude) Trudeau, she lived in Fairhaven and New Bedford most of her life. A woman of great faith, she was a communicant of Sacred Hearts in Fairhaven, and presently St. Lawrence, Martyr in New Bedford. She was formerly employed at the Aerovox, Acushnet Process and Meals on Wheels.
Aunt Pauline, as she was lovingly called, was pre-deceased by her sister Leola Furtado and 8 brothers, Maurice, Bill, Paul, Bernard, Andre, Rene, Roger, and Richard Trudeau. She is survived by many nieces and nephews among them a nephew: Frank J. Davis of Florida; nieces: Judith F. Stoltenberg of Rochester, Teresa J. Ouellette of New Bedford, Susan P. Aunt Pauline’s life was shaped by the gospel message of Jesus to serve and love. This she did throughout her life in the way she interacted with people, extending hospitality, kindness, and her smile to all she met. She had a passion for prayer and music, she enjoyed when we visited her at Sacred Heart nursing home singing with her one of her favorites, You Are My Sunshine, as well as bringing her sweet treats for her to enjoy and share with others. She had a kind spirit and a warmth which radiated to her family and friends.
