Donatilde Amaral

Donatilde (Pacheco) Amaral, 85, of New Bedford passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Antonio DeAmaral. She was born in Feteira Pequena, St. Michael, Azores to the late Armando Tavares Silva and the late Sofia Pacheco. She was a floor worker for Bayview Manufacturing for many years and lived in the New Bedford area for 54 years. She is survived by her husband Antonio, sons; Armando Amaral, Daniel DaAmaral, and Steven Amaral, all of New Bedford, daughters; Tibera Pereira, Connie Pacheco, Lucy Braga, Maria Sofia Nogueira, and Sandra Pereira, all of New Bedford, brother, Humberto Silva of Virginia, sister, Lordes Lazaro of New Bedford, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew's. She is predeceased by her son Diogenes Amaral. A Funeral Mass will be held for Donatilde on Monday, February 7th, at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in New Bedford at 10:30am with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Sunday, February 6th from 3pm-6pm at Boulevard Funeral Home in New Bedford. All attendees are asked to wear a mask, thank you.
