Dorothy Frade

Dorothy S. Frade 88 of New Bedford passed away Tuesday April 2, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Home. She was the daughter of the late Jose S. and Angelina Goncalves (Ponte) Frade. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. She was formerly employed as a medical biller for the Massachusetts Department of Public Assistance at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Public Welfare Office in New Bedford and as a secretary for Hemingway Transportation. She loved to paint, make statues and gardening. Survivors include her brothers Joseph S. Frade Jr. of New Bedford and Alfred S. Frade of Estero, Florida. She was the sister of the late Antonio Frade. Her private funeral services were under the care of the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd.
