Dorothy Gadbois

Dorothy A. (Fredette) Gadbois 92 of New Bedford passed away Monday January 2, 2017 at Care One of New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Henry Gadbois and daughter of the late George R. and Aurora B. (Laporte) Fredette. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was employed in the garment industry as a winder/tender until her retirement. Survivors include her “person” and best friends Donna, Brian and Chad Pires of Acushnet, a niece Susan Kourafas of Acushnet, a nephew Mark L. Baron of Fairhaven and a cousin Irene Cahill of Florida. A visiting hour will be held Friday morning from 9-10am.Followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
