Durvalina F Silveira

Durvalina F (Vieira) Silveira, 91, of New Bedford passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at CareOne of New Bedford. Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Vieira Coelho and the late Maria de Vieira, and wife of the late Reinaldo M Silveira. 

Durvalina came to the United State in 1967 where she worked for many years at Calvin Clothing. 

Durvalina is survived by her daughters, Lilia Faria and Helena Silveira; her sons, Victor Silveira and Henry Silveira; her grandchildren, Danny, Leslie, Cherry, Jamie, Amanda, Christina, Louis, Eric and Jeremy and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Reinaldo V. Silveira and Daniel Silveira and her grandchildren, Chucky Bettencourt and Stephanie DaSilveira.

A visitation will be held at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 8-9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
