Eduarda Andrade

Eduarda Maria (Silva) Andrade aged 76 years, passed away on June 26, 2010 at the Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility in New Bedford, in the company of her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Antonio Bernard Andrade of  New Bedford. Eduarda was the loving mother of John Andrade of Canada, Peter Andrade and Maria G. Nogueira both of New Bedford. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Mrs. Andrade was the daughter of the late Maria da Conceicao (Medeiros) da Silva and Manuel Pereira da Silva . She was born in Sao Miguel Acores. She was employed at Knapp Shoes and Alden Shoe as a machine operator until her retirement. Mrs. Andrade's funeral will be Wednesday at  8:00 am, at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Boulevard, with a mass of christian burial at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, New Bedford at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery in New Bedford. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5-8pm.
