Eileen Russek

Eileen (Furtado) Russek 89 of New Bedford passed away Sunday July 19, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of Richard Russek Sr. and daughter of the late Joseph and Rosalina (Perry) Furtado. She was a lifelong New Bedford resident. Eileen was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She was formerly employed as a stitcher in the garment industry. Survivors include her husband, her daughter Donna Rogers and her husband Richard of New Bedford, her brother Norman Furtado of New Bedford, her daughter-in-law Barbara Russek of New Bedford. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard Russek Jr. Her visiting hour will be Thursday July 23 from 10am until 11am when a prayer service will be held. Cremation will follow.
