Etelvina Cosme

Etelvina dos Anjos (Moniz) Cosme 89 of New Bedford passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 at the Hathaway Manor. She was the wife of the late Jose Pereira Nunes and the late Joseph M. Cosme. She was also the daughter of the late Jose dos Santos Moniz and Francisca do Rego Camara. She was born in Portugal and had lived in this area for many years. She was an amiable and hospitable person. Survivors include her step-daughters Sr. Joan Rita Cosme SS.CC., of Honolulu, HI, Rita Lapre of East Freetown; her sister Maria dos Anjos Gil of New Bedford; step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the step-mother of the late Antone M. Cosme of CT. A funeral mass with her cremated remains present will be said 10:30am on Thursday January 3, 2013 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church. Visiting hours are kindly omitted. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
