Franklin Figueira

Franklin Figueira, 69, of New Bedford, passed away on June 30th at Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence, RI. Born in New Bedford, Franklin was the son of the late Fernao Figueira and the late Maria (Alves) Figueira. He had a passion for bowling and enjoyed being on the lanes. Before his retirement, Franklin was a long time custodian at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School, where he was endeared to many. Survivors include his godmother, Carmen Alves; godson, Ryan Santos; dear friend, Dan Lamar and many close friends. Thank you to Gloria for making these arrangements possible.

In accordance with his wishes, Franklin was cremated and a committal service in Pine Grove Cemetery will take place on Wednesday, July 19th at 10am.
