George Sprague

George Sprague 81 of New Bedford, formerly of Cape Cod passed away Friday October 14, 2011 at Hathaway Manor. He was the husband of Carol (Newell) Sprague and son of the late George Warren Sprague and Ardell (Messenger) Sprague. He was born in Reading and had lived on Cape Cod and in New Bedford for many years. Until his retirement he was formerly employed as a truck driver for many years. Survivors include his wife; his children Mary Freire of Fairhaven, Amy Singelais of Sandwich, Jean Johnson of Westborough Ma, Larry Singelais of Durham N.H., Carl Singelais of Chelmsford MA, Vicky Karras of Barnstable MA, Brian Sprague of Salem N.H., Dan Sprague of Wilmington MA, Sharon Lyles of N.H. Debbie Slavin of North Billerica MA, Wendy Sprague of Tewksbury MA. His sister Alice Tower of Plymouth N.H., many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Joanne Mancuso. His memorial service will be held Saturday October 22, 2011 at 11 am at St. John’s Episcopal Church 159 Main St. Sandwich, MA.
