Gordon F Packard, 66 of New Bedford, passed away at home on August 1, 2022. Gordon has been with PRIDE Inc of Taunton a nonprofit agency supporting adults with disabilities since 2013.  He was in the AFC program and the Day Hab program.  He had Sarah and Erica in Day Hab and Beth and Heather in AFC. He was Doug's "assistant" doing custodial work. Gordon was loved and admired by all of that new him.  Gordon had a smile that would light up a room and was a true gentleman. Gordon will always be remembered for his enormous personality that made everyone around him happy! Gordon spent the last several years living in New Bedford with his foster family Maria and Tony DeMelo and his housemates Dottie & Barbara (that he will meet in Heaven) and his favorite girl Skyla Blu.   Gordon was also loved by all of Maria's children and their families.  In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to PRIDE's Go Fund Me for a gazebo for all Gordon's friends to enjoy. Gordon's Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 25th at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Acushnet, all are welcome to join us at the Funeral Home for a short visitation beginning at 8:30am. Inurnment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
