Ilda Goncalves

Ilda (Moura) Goncalves, 87, passed away at home on Saturday, May 23rd. She was born in Bustelo, Chaves, Portugal the daughter of the late Manuel DeSousa and Efigenia Moura. Ilda worked as a stitcher in various textiles mills through the course of her life. Survivors include her sons; Jose Goncalves of New Bedford, Manuel Goncalves of New Bedford, Augusto Goncalves of Orlando, FL, Rui Goncalves of New Bedford; daughter, Francelina Vieira of Palm Harbor, FL; Sister, Carminda Goncalves of New Bedford; grandchildren, David, Christopher, Lisa, Aimee, Justin, Adam, Stephanie, David, Daniel & great grandchildren, Maddy, Olivia, Ryan, Ethan, Jaliyah, Jyell, Jyzier, and Brielle. She is preceded in death by her son, Silvino Goncalves Jr & brothers, Francisco DeSousa, Mario DeSousa, Armando Sousa. Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, her funeral will be private for her immediate family.
