Janet Robichaud

Janet C (Lecuyer) Robichaud, 87 of Acushnet passed away Monday, April 19th at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rochester, daughter of the late George and Yvonne (Corriveau) Lecuyer and wife of the late Herve W Robichaud, they were happily married for 60 years. Janet was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Fairhaven and  member of the Secular Branch of The Sacred Heart. She was also a member of the Blueberry Growers Association and MA Beekeeper's Association. A lot of her time was spent volunteering at Damien's Place Food Pantry and she was also involved with VFW Post 6643. Survivors include her daughter Yvonne Capella and husband David of Lakeville; son, Alfred Robichaud and wife Diane of Acushnet; sister, Pauline Petty of Texas; Grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Rachael, Margaret, Gabriel with wife Beth, and David; 2 great grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. Janet is predeceased by her son, George L Robichaud; brother, Roland Lecuyer and sister, Lorraine Daniel. Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 24th at 10am at St. Mary's Parish in Fairhaven. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
