Kevin White

Kevin Scott White, 58, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday October 4,2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Kevin was the loving husband and best friend to Christina [Costa] White for 30 years. Born in Middleboro, Massachusetts on July 18,1963 to the late Louis White and Ruth [ Elgar] Benson. Kevin resided in Acushnet for most of his life until moving to New Bedford. Kevin was employed by ABC Disposal for 23 years. Kevin enjoyed his leisure time by listening to Country music and the oldies . Kevin also enjoyed going to the casinos, playing cards with his friends and various road trips to New Hampshire and Maine where he and his wife enjoyed quiet times. Kevin especially enjoyed his bond with his grandchildren and playing with them every opportunity he had. Kevin is survived by his wife, Christina, his children, sons Kevin Nunes, Corey White and fiancé Jessica Quenterio of Fall River, MA, his daughters Cassandra Stojak of Tennesse , Holly Young and her husband David Young of New Bedford. Grandchildren Liam Murphy, Malek Arruda, Kevin Nunes, Canessa Nunes, Alivia Young, Cole White and Grayson White, his sister, Karen Harrison, brother Donald Benson and his wife Kerri of Mattapoisett, his two nieces, Caitlyn Harrison and Sylvie Benson , a nephew Joshua Harrison and a special aunt, Marcia Elgar with whom he loved dearly. The family would like to personally acknowledge and thank Dr Grillone , Mike Walsh and the ENT Team at Boston Medical Hospital , Dr Kim at South Coast Oncology and the team of Hospice nurses for their part in Kevin’s care plan. At the request of the family a “Celebration of Life” will be held on Sunday October 17,2021 at “Arch of the Meadow” 332 Mendell Road~ Rochester, MA at 12 noon.
