Lillian Roza

Lillian (Flora) Roza 91 of New Bedford, passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Care One of New Bedford. She was the widow of John Roza and daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Correia) Flora. She was born in New Bedford and lived here all of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her cats, Amber and Valerie. Lillian was formerly employed by Aerovox as a secretary and then for Cumberland Farms as a clerk until her retirement. Survivors include her sons John Roza, Robert Roza and her daughter Deborah Duarte all of New Bedford. Her brother Christopher Correia of New Hampshire. 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Michael Duarte Jr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations in Lillian's name may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation 733 3rd Ave. Ste 510  New York, NY 10017. Her visitation will be Friday morning 9:30 until 11am when her funeral service will take place. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
