Lillian Sa

Lillian (Martin) Sa 100 of New Bedford passed away Saturday March 15, 2014 at New Bedford Health Care Center. She was the widow of Florentino Sa and daughter of the late Gregory and Frances (Gil) Martin. She was born in East Providence, RI and had lived in New Bedford for many years. She was formerly employed as a floor supervisor at Langshaw Manufacturing until her retirement. She was an avid reader and expert seamstress. She loved spending time with her great grandsons and great great granddaughters. Survivors include her daughters Sandra Nunes and her husband Rene of New Bedford, Patricia Rocha and her husband Ronald of Mattapoisett; her granddaughter Toni Nunes and her companion Doug Fredette of Acushnet; her grandson Kenneth Rocha and his wife Dawn of Acushnet; great grandsons Joshua Nunes, Benjamin, Samuel and Peter Rocha; great great granddaughters Elexus and Alyssa Nunes. She was the grandmother of the late Steven Nunes and sister of the late Virginia Gil, Evangeline Rocha, Alice Rose, Mary Rocha and Mercedes Sa. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of New Bedford Health Care Center, Dartmouth Unit for their loving care. At her request all of her arrangements are private.
