Linda Cosmo

Linda (Barboza) Cosmo 65 of New Bedford passed away Saturday August 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s hospital. She was the wife of Jeffrey A. Cosmo Sr. and daughter of the late Dimas and Mary (Rodericks) Barboza. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Linda was formerly employed as a stitcher at States Nightwear. She was a former member of the “dirty dozen” club. Survivors include her husband; her children Jeffrey A. Cosmo Jr., Jason A. Cosmo, Joel A. Cosmo, Katherine Dextraze Swain, Kelly A. Allain all of New Bedford and Heidi Antil of Dartmouth; her brother Robert Barboza of New Bedford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her visiting hours will be Tuesday 7-9pm. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American cancer society.
