Manuel G Ferreira

Manuel G. Ferreira, 78, of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of the late Manuel Melo Ferreira and the late Emelia Goncalves and he was the loving husband of Maria M. (Vieira) Ferreira. 

Manuel was a landscaper for various landscaping companies for many years and he was also the twelve year entrepreneur for his small business Goncalves Family Market. In his free time he enjoyed gardening and an appreciation for colorful flowers and trees. 

Manuel will be sorrowfully missed by his two sons, Kevin Ferreira and girlfriend Isabel Garcia and Roger Ferreira and girlfriend Kimberly Cheney; his two daughters, Maggie Cardoso and Elizabeth Ferreira. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Dylan Cardoso, Quinn Cardoso, Aaron Cardoso, Addison Ferreira and Abigail Ferreira. 

In accordance with his wishes, Manuel will be cremated.
