Maria dos Anjos Pacheco

Maria dos Anjos (Andreza) Pacheco 78 of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Manuel A. Pacheco and daughter of the late Joao M. and Maria da Luz (Elias) Andreza. She was born in Achadinha, St. Michael, Azores and had lived in New Bedford since 1970. Maria was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was employed as a garment inspector at Riverside Manufacturing. Survivors include her sons Steven Pacheco and his wife Helga, Michael Pacheco and his  wife Lisa Couto- Pacheco, Manuel Pacheco Jr.  and his wife Jill A. Kinney-Pacheco. Her brother Gilberto Andreza of Price George, British Columbia, her sister Silvina Branco of New Bedford,  her grandchildren, Samantha Pacheco, Trevor Pacheco, Andrew Pacheco, Abigail Pacheco and Tyler Pacheco. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Maria was the sister of the late Maria J. Andreza, Jose Andreza and Ernesto Andreza. Visiting hours will be Friday, October 21 from 9am to 11am, at the Boulevard Funeral Home, followed by her funeral mass at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church at 11:30. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
