Maria Vitorino

Maria Neves (Carreiras) Vitorino 74, formerly of New Bedford, passed away June 6, 2019. She was the wife of Gilbert C. Vitorino and daughter of the late Antonio and Rosa (Moura) Carreiras. She was born in Montelerge, Chaves, Portugal and had lived in New Bedford before moving to Florida. She was formerly employed as a stitcher at Cliftex and had owned the Dollarama Discount Store. Survivors include her husband, her children Daniel Vitorino and his wife Tonya, Michael Vitorino and Karen Vitorino. Brothers, sisters, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation, with her cremated remains present will be held Friday July 19, from 6-8pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd.
