Mary C. Azevedo, 99, of New Bedford passed away Friday, December 11 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lourdes (Barbosa) Azevedo. She was born in New Bedford and lived here most of her life. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Miss Azevedo was formerly employed as a stitcher at Kay Windsor until her retirement. Survivors include her nieces and nephews; Diane Souza and her husband Ronald of Plymouth, Karen Ovian and her husband Larry of Rochester, Kim Griffin and her husband James of Dartmouth and Dr. John S. Viveiros of Braintree. Also, her brother- in- law John Viveiros of Plymouth. She was the loving “Titi” of Lauren, Kevin, John, Andrew, Elizabeth and Aidin. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Due to COVID-19 restrictions her funeral arrangements are private.
