Mary Cunha

Mary (Ferreira) Cunha 89 of New Bedford passed away Wednesday March 9. 2011 at St. Luke’s hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry M. Cunha and daughter of the late John L. and Geneoveva (Almeida) Ferreira. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Survivors include her sons Henry M. Cunha Jr. of Vaneyes, CA, Edmund M. Cunha and his longtime companion Doreen Arruda of New Bedford; several grandchildren, great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one “little Irish daughter”. Her funeral service will be 10am Monday at the funeral home.Visitation will be from 9am until 10am. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery
