Mary Frade

Mary Rose (Rodrigues) Frade 93 formerly of Milford St., New Bedford passed away July 5, 2012 in Arvada, CO. She was the widow of Gerald “Jerry” Frade and daughter of the late Manuel Rodrigues and Josephine (Rosario) Briere. She was born in New Bedford and lived here most of her life before moving to Colorado to be close to her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church, where she received all her sacraments. Her greatest joy was her family and her career in the garment industry. She was a member of the ILGWU since it’s’ inception. Survivors include her son Thomas Frade of Woodstock, Ill.; her daughters Norma Russell Gomes of Arvada, CO, Geraldine Connelly of Greeley, CO; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Manuel Rodrigues of Maine. Her committal service will be held Thursday August 2, 2012 at the St. Paul section of St. Johns cemetery at 11:30 am.
