Mary Sullivan

Mary Lucy (Medeiros) Sullivan 86 of New Bedford, died Wednesday October 21, 2009 at St. Luke's hospital. She was the widow of James Sullivan and daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Carmo (Amaral) Medeiros. She was a lifelong New Bedford resident. Mrs. Sullivan was a communicant of St. Killians church. She was formerly employed as a machine operator at the Acushnet Co. until her retirement. Survivors include her brothers Manuel Medeiros of Simi Valley, CA, John Medeiros of Haywood, CA. Her sister Dorothy Parkin of Huntington Beach, CA, her Godson David James Boswell of Texas, a special niece Sherry Knight of Texas also several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral mass will be said 10am Monday at St. Killians church. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8pm. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
