Mary Doris Magao

Mary Doris (Baptista) Magao 100, formerly of New Bedford, passed away Sunday August 30, 2020 at Alden Court. She was the wife of the late Antonio S. “Tony” Magao, mother of the late Nancy Hinkley and daughter of the late Antonio S. and Maria Nazare (Pereira) Baptista. Doris was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. She is survived by her niece Deborah (Maia) Strong of New York, and godchildren Arline Sherman of New Bedford and Madeline Bettencourt of New Bedford and several other relatives. Her funeral service was private. Arrangements were by the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd.
