Michael Raposo

Michael Raposo 26 of North Dartmouth died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 19, 2009. He was the son of Victor and Filomena (Rita) Pereira of North Dartmouth. He was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area all his life. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church. Michael was formerly employed by Mahoney's Lumber as a delivery person. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, paint ball, fishing, air planes and his mustang. Survivors include his parents, his sister Nina Raposo of North Dartmouth, his Maternal grandparents Jaime and Adelina Botelho of New Bedford, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the paternal grandson of the late Deodato and Maria Pereira. His funeral mass will be said Tuesday 9am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church. Vistation will be Sunday and Monday 6-8pm. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
