Olivia Azevedo 94 of New Bedford passed away, at her home, on Wednesday June 24, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lourdes (Barbosa) Azevedo. She was born in New Bedford and lived here all of her life. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Miss Azevedo was formerly employed as a stitcher at Kay Windsor until her retirement. Survivors include her sisters Mary Azevedo of New Bedford, Lorraine Viveiros and her husband John of Plymouth; her nieces and nephews Diane Souza and her husband Ronald of Plymouth, Karen Ovian and her husband Larry of Rochester, Kim Griffin and her husband James of Dartmouth, Dr. John S. Viveiros and his wife Karyn of Milton. She was the loving “Titi” of Lauren, Kevin, John, Andrew, Elizabeth and Aidin. Visitation will be Saturday 9 -10am. Her funeral mass will be said 10:30am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
