Primitivo Rios Sr

Primitivo Rios Sr. 97 passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Brandon Woods Dartmouth, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Cristobal Rios and Rose Maria Rodriguez. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Primitivo was a communicant of St. Anthony's of Padua Church. He was employed as a Buck Presser at Eastern Sportswear. Primitivo was very active in his church in Puerto Rico and loved music and dancing. He was a jack of all trades and took much pride in his work, especially when it involved cars. Primitivo had an immense love for life and celebrating it with his family and friends. Survivors include his son Primitivo Rios Jr; daughters, Alice DaPonte and Mary Rios; Sister, Isabel Rios; his 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Primitivo is predeceased by his daughter Rosa Silva. His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 1st at St. Anthony's of Padua Church at 10:00AM. His wake service will be Sunday, June 30 at the Boulevard Funeral Home from 4-6PM. Cremation will follow.
