Raul dosSantos

Raul dosSantos 89 of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, November 27, at Sippican Healthcare Center. He was the husband of the late Celeste (Simao) dosSantos. Raul was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and had lived in this area for many years. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in New Bedford. Raul was employed as a construction foreman for J F White for over 40 years. He was a fan of the Sporting Soccer Club. Survivors include his daughters Maria Isabel Pereira of New Bedford, Jennifer Santos Borges and her husband Bruno Borges of New Bedford. His grandchildren Nicholas Santos Pereira and Leah Faith Borges; his great granddaughter Sierra Rodrigues Pereira. He was the father-in-law of the late Francisco Vaz “Chico” Pereira. Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 9:30 am on Tuesday December 3, at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd., followed by his funeral mass at 10am at St. Mary’s Church in New Bedford. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
