Raymond Arruda

Raymond Arruda 73 of Fairhaven, formerly of Wareham, passed away Thursday December 22, 2011 at St. Luke's hospital. He was the husband of Flore Y. (Dupont) Arruda and son of the late Antonio and Mary (Almeida) Arruda. He was born in New Bedford and was a longtime resident of Wareham before moving to Fairhaven recentley.He was the former proprietor of Arruda's paint and supplies. Survivors include his widow, his daughters Linda LeBlanc of New Bedford, Donna Amaral of New Bedford, Kathy Valle of Wareham, Jeanine Almeida of New Bedford, Karen Arruda of Missouri; his sister Vangie Correia of Dartmouth; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. His graveside service will be held 11am Tuesday at Pine Grove cemetery in New Bedford.
