Robert (Bobby) Clark Amancio, 79 of Dartmouth, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, June 16th. Born in Attleboro, he was son of the late Joseph F. Amancio and Hilda (Jardin) Amancio. He was married to the love of his life, Georgiana Amancio, for over 60 years. A devoted father and grandfather, Bobby is survived by his daughters Cindy Elsner and her husband Kevin, Christine Jacobsen and her long term boyfriend, Doug Beck, his beloved grandchildren, Jade Pedro, Katie Kwiatkowski, Cameron and Collin Dexter. Family was everything to Bob and he is also survived by his twin sister, Roberta Raymond and pre-deceased by his brother and nephew James C. Amancio and Brent Amancio. Bob had many nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved and was loved by them. An avid sports fan, he never missed a Patriots or Red Sox game. A sportsman himself, in his youth he played softball, hockey and was a champion bowler. Traveling was his passion, and he could often be found aboard a cruise ship with his family dancing with his wife, Georgia. He enjoyed playing cribbage with his family and friends at the senior center, cooking meat at The Feast and walking his dog and best friend Henry. A man of faith, he enjoyed attending church every week. Bob retired as a machine operator for AFC Cable systems. A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, June 21st at the Boulevard Funeral Home from 5-8pm. His Funeral Mass will be held, Thursday, June 22nd at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church at 10am. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
