Robert Barboza
April 26, 1958 — August 18, 2013
Robert A. Barboza, 55 of New Bedford passed away Sunday August 18, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. He is the husband of Marly (Lima) Barboza and son of the late Dimas and Mary (Rodericks) Barboza. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong residence. Robert was formerly employed as a truck driver for Dunkin Donuts. Survivors include his wife, his sons Vincent Barboza and Byron Edge Jr. both of New Bedford, his daughters Melissa Barboza, Kaci Edge and Bethie Edge all of New Bedford, many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Linda Cosmo, who passed away August 17, 2013. Robert's Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday from 7-9PM with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
