Ryan J. Miguel

Ryan J. Miguel, 46, of New Bedford passed away after a brief illness at St. Luke's Hospital on January 2, 2024. Born in New Bedford, he will be deeply missed by his parents, Joao Cesar Miguel and Valentina (Bernardo) Miguel.

Ryan was always caring for his mother and kept her well being close to his heart and on the top of his priorities. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a hard worker and was a general construction foreman for P. Gioioso & Sons, Inc. where he worked for 24 years. He was an avid lover of sports, most specifically football and hockey.

Ryan is survived by his brother, Derek Miguel and his wife Isabella, of Florida.

He had many special aunts, two of which include his God-mother Lucia Miguel-Botelho and Maria Dos Santos.

He had several cousins, Luci, Robert, Dennis, Kevin, Brenda, Keith, Monique, Natasha, Nicole and Emanuel, all of which he loved spending time and playing hockey with.

Although Ryan never had any children of his own he had a special bond with his God-daughter Madison Lynn Miguel and his nephews Anthony and Hunter Miguel.

Ryan was predeceased by his brother Johnathan Miguel, and aunts Milena Miguel-Botelho and Eduarda Sousa.

All are welcome to join us on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford at 9:00 am for a visitation. His Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church and a burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
