Sally Mello

Sally V. (Bryda) Mello 75 of Acushnet passed away Saturday May 10, 2014 at Our Lady’s Haven. She was the wife of the late Arthur P. Mello Jr., who passed away on April 9, 2014, and daughter of the late Aloysius and Angela (Szlachta) Bryda. She was born in Acushnet and was a lifelong resident. Sally was employed by the town of Acushnet as a cafeteria worker until her retirement. Survivors include her daughter Tracy Johansen of Acushnet; her grandchildren Andrew Johansen and Allison Johansen. A memorial mass for Arthur and Sally will be said on Sunday May 18, 2014 at 9:30am in the chapel at Our Lady’s Haven 71 Center St. Fairhaven, MA. Sally’s burial was private.
