Sandra St. Pierre

Sandra M. (Costa) St. Pierre 67 of New Bedford went to a better place on Friday March 7, 2014, after a long battle with breast cancer. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas M. St. Pierre of New Bedford and daughter of the late Alfred and Alice (Machado) Costa. She was born in Fall River and lived in this area for many years. She was formerly employed as the dining room manager for the Wamsutta Club and as a bartender at the 6th Bristol Club. Over the years she touched the lives of many people and always found the good in a person. She liked working with the public. Survivors include her loving husband; 4 wonderful daughters Dawn Audette of Dartmouth, Ann Marie King of Florida, Kimberly Sylvia of Fairhaven, Kendra Leclair of New Bedford; a very loving step-son Aaron St. Pierre of Somerville, MA; a loving step-daughter Sharon Worden of New Bedford; 2 brothers Richard Costa of Somerset and Joseph Costa of Fall River; a sister Lori Ann Bassco of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alfred Costa. Her memorial service will be held 2pm Monday.
